Reservation requests sent through this website are not confirmed until our team contacts you to confirm availability and your total. Rates shown on the website are starting prices and may change based on dates, vehicle and rental length. Your final price and terms are listed in your signed rental agreement.
Vehicles may not be used:
Return the vehicle with the same fuel level it had at pick-up. If it comes back lower, refueling is charged at the market rate plus a $25 service fee.
Mileage allowances are listed with each vehicle. Extra miles are billed at the per mile rate shown for that vehicle.
A 30 minute grace period applies. After that, hourly or daily rates apply. Keeping the vehicle past the agreed return time without approval may be treated as misuse of the vehicle. Need more time? Contact us before your return time.
The renter is responsible for all tolls, parking tickets and traffic violations during the rental. Unpaid tolls carry a $50 administrative fee per violation, plus the original toll amount.
The renter is fully responsible for:
Montecruz may charge full repair costs, lost revenue during repairs, and administrative fees.
Return the vehicle in the condition you received it. Excess dirt, stains, spills, or pet hair (unless approved in advance) may result in cleaning charges. Smoking in any vehicle carries a minimum $250 fee.
If there is an accident, the renter must report it immediately, provide a police report, and cooperate with the insurance process. Failing to do so makes the renter fully financially responsible.
Vehicles may use GPS tracking. Montecruz may locate, disable where legal, or recover a vehicle without notice if the agreement is violated, a payment fails, or the vehicle is at risk. All recovery costs are the renter’s responsibility.
By renting, you authorize Montecruz to charge any card on file for damages, tolls, fees, violations, cleaning, loss of use, and legal or collection costs. Additional fees may include:
Unpaid accounts may be sent to collections, and the renter is responsible for collection fees, attorney fees and court costs.
Delivery to your address and collection at the end of your rental are available on request. Choose the option when you reserve, and our team will confirm availability and any fee before your rental begins.
Montecruz complies with the Graves Amendment (49 U.S.C. § 30106). The renter agrees to indemnify and hold Montecruz harmless from claims arising from use of the vehicle, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct by Montecruz.

You agree not to misuse the website, submit false information, or interfere with its operation. Rentals are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey. Your signed rental agreement is the complete agreement between you and Montecruz and replaces any prior communication. This page is a summary; if anything here differs from your signed agreement, the agreement applies.
